Disney’s Pete’s Dragon to close Village Cinemas’ Fairytale Film Festival

From July 30th until August the 18th, Village Cinemas will be playing some of Disney’s most beloved live-action fairytales for the Fairytale Film Festival. The festival will conclude with an exclusive preview screening of Pete’s Dragon, Disney’s anticipated live action reboot of the 1977 classic of the same title.

The festival comes on the back of the success of the Disney Princess and Pixar Film Festivals, and will run over five consecutive weekends with a different film playing each week.

The Disney Fairytale Film Festival will screen exclusively at Village Cinemas, and the schedule will be as follows:

July 30 & 31 – Maleficent (2014)
August 7 & 8 – Enchanted (2007)
August 13 & 14 – Into the Woods (2015)
August 20 & 21 – Cinderella (2015)
August 27 & 28 – Pete’s Dragon (2016)

Those attending the festival will also be given the opportunity to win a private Gold Class screening, to be awarded to the best set of nails from the Disney manicure-cam.

The Village Cinemas General Manager of Sales & Marketing, Mohit Bhargava, has said “The Disney Fairytale Film Festival showcases four of the most cherished films, with all your favourite characters returning to the big screen, as well as an exclusive preview screening of Pete’s Dragon – all are sure to be a perfect day out for the whole family.”

Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased now from: http://villagecinemas.com.au/events/disney-fairytale-festival

If you miss this screening, Pete’s Dragon opens nationwide on September 15th.
