Starz’s upcoming series, the adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s fantasy novel American Gods has casted Sucker Punch actress Emily Browning as Laura Moon.
Emily Browning will play Shadow Moon’s wife, Laura Moon, who has been preparing for her husband’s pending prison release, which will be played alongside actor Ricky Whittle who has been set to play as Shadow Moon.
The series plot line American Gods will revolve around a growing war between the old and new gods, set by the tension of the traditional gods steadily losing believers to an upstart pantheon of gods that reflect society’s modern obsession of money, technology, media, celebrity and drugs.
The series is set to begin shooting in April.
