Two films down and one to go. And this week we finally got a good taste of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, the third in a trilogy of films adapting the J.R.R. Tolkien masterpiece The Hobbit, in the form of a brand new, epic trailer that has already received some 8 million views at the time of writing.
The Hobbit Trilogy tells a continuous story set in Middle-earth 60 years before The Lord of the Rings and this instalment brings an epic conclusion to the adventures of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) and the Company of Dwarves.
Ian McKellen returns as Gandalf the Grey, and the international cast is led by Evangeline Lily, Lee Pace, Luke Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, Orlando Bloom and more.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies will arrive at cinemas on Boxing Day (December 26th).
