The latest Carol Ann Duffy stage adaptation Everyman has announced an official preview screening at Melbourne’s Cinema Nova . Captured live from the London stage, this modern adaptation starring Academy award nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor and directed by Rufus Norris, will be screened from August 8th.
The tale of Everyman (Ejiofor) is one of success, popularity and riding high until Death comes calling. Forced to abandon the life he has built, a frantic search begins to recruit a friend, anyone, to speak in his defense . But Death is close behind, and time is running out. Showing for a strictly limited time only , be sure to witness a contemporary approach to classic English drama.
