After Suicide Squad director David Ayer last week tweeted out a picture of Jared Leto’s Joker in full crazy make-up mode. He’s now dropped a picture of the cast in full costume garb. While we get to take a look at some of the better known cast such as Will Smith as Deadshot and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, the picture let’s us check out the rest of Taskforce X.
From left to right the lineup: Adam Beach as Slipknot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, down in front Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Robbie as Harley Quinn, Smith as Deadshot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo.
He also tweeted a solo picture of Deadshot in his outfit with signature mask and eyepiece…
And even though Leto’s Joker was absent from the group shot, his character shot caused some division amongst DC Comic fans with his manic portrayal though there has been reports the tattoos may not be part of the final look for the character but were done as part of the 75th anniversary celebrations …
The only significant cast member we’re yet to see a picture of is Viola Davis as the squad’s government handler Amanda Waller.
Suicide Squad is about a team of super-villains pulled together by government agent Amanda Waller and given a chance at a clean slate. The only snag is that the “chance” is a series of incredibly dangerous missions that none of them are expected to survive.
The film is slated for an August 2016 release.
