The ATX Television Festival held in Austin has unveiled its line-up of events, including a reunion of NBC’s Friday Night Lights cast and crew, marking the 10-year anniversary since the show premiered.
The Friday Night Lights event is the centerpiece of the ATX festival, and will reunite cast, crew and fans on Panther Field. The event will feature a traditional Friday Night Lights style pep rally, live music, tailgating activities and photo opportunities.
Joining the ATX line-up, there will be a writers’ room reunion for The O.C, featuring creator Josh Schwartz and executive producer Stephanie Savage and writer Leila Gerstein. The ATX will also host panels and screenings for Hulu’s Casual, Lifetime’s UnREAL, The CW’s Jane the Virgin and TV Land’s Younger.
Previously announced events for this year’s ATX festival also include Everybody Loves Raymond 20-year reunion with cast and producers, The Shield writers’ room reunion featuring creator Shawn Ryan, and lastly, comedy producing Norman Lear receiving the ATX Award for Television and Excellence.
ATX Festival takes place June 9-12 in Austin, Texas.
