Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, at the height of the Cold War, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. centers on CIA agent Solo and KGB agent Kuryakin. Sound familiar? That’s because we’re talking about the popular 1960s television series of the same name, which is getting a cinematic revamp courtesy of Guy Ritchie (Lock Stock, Snatch, Sherlock Holmes), starring Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) and Armie Hammer (The Social Network) in the main roles, respectively.
The film also stars Alicia Vikander (Anna Karenina), Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby), with Jared Harris (Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows) and Hugh Grant as Waverly.
Today the new trailer for the film dropped, which you can watch below, and it shows off the typical Richie flair for good music, a whole lotta action, some friendly rivalries and casual sexual banter:
