Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe turns Neo-Nazi in latest film trailer of Imperium

Gone are the days of Harry Potter, yet Daniel Radcliffe has been setting himself pretty well in the world of cinema as of late. Reported by Dark Horizons, Radcliffe plays an interesting character for upcoming film title Imperium. His character role will be of Nate Foster, an FBI agent tasked with infiltrating the neo-Nazi movement.

The film will be written and directed by Daniel Ragussis and joining Radcliffe will be fellow actors Toni Collette, Sam Trammell, Burn Gorman, Nestor Carbonell, and Tracy Letts. Quoted by Gareth Franklin of Dark Horizons in describing the film “With far-right groups nearly winning elections in Europe, the old white supremacist stereotype is out of date and Ragussis says it’s the right time to explore this issue.”

Considering how closely even the likes and dislikes are on the YouTube trailer, this indicates how mixed the reactions will be from many people. Only time will tell on how this film will pan out.

Imperium will have a U.S release date of August 19
