Over the weekend HBO unveiled three new promotional videos for the upcoming sixth season of Game of Thrones slated to air on HBO on Sunday, April 24. The three promos were part of a social media campaign played out by HBO’s Game of Thrones twitter page.
Fans were encouraged to pledge their allegiances to one of the three major houses in the series on Twitter. By tweeting @GameOfThrones with one of the hashtags #HouseLannister, #HouseStark or #HouseTargaryen, fans were treated to an automated response featuring a special teaser video based on the hashtag they picked.

The three promos clearly give a glimpse into the struggles the three major houses will be facing coming into season six.
The House Stark’s video contains Ramsay Bolton voice declaring that Winterfell will be his, while a House Stark flag flies in the sky. House Lannister’s video features the High Sparrow’s voice over stating that “together we can overthrow an empire”. Lastly the final clip features a Dothraki voice insulting Daenary’s title.

Game of Thrones will return to Australia on Foxtel’s Showcase from April 25th.
