‘In the House’ returns to Event Cinemas next month with screenings of Donnie Darko, The Thing and more!

Event Cinema’s ‘In the House’ cult screenings return to their George Street location in Sydney this July, bringing cult classics from the last 40 years back to the big screen.

Audiences can catch screenings of films like Francis Ford Coppola’s seminal gangsta flick  The Godfather (1972), Ridley Scott’s nightmare Aliens (1979) in 70mm and fantasy cult classic Big Trouble in Little China (1986). Joss Whedon fans will also be excited for their rare opportunity to see Serenity (2005) back on the big screen.

Alternatively, you can impress your friends by pretending you fully understand Donnie Darko (2001) or enjoy a reminder of what Cuba Gooding Jr used to do with his time pre-SnowDogs in Boyz n the Hood (1991). Event Cinema will also hold special Halloween screening of The Thing (1982) and Stanley Kubrick’s The Shinning (1980).

‘In the House’ is screening at select Event Cinemas from July through to November.
