Interview: Aussie actor Brenton Thwaites on acting with Johnny Depp & joining the Pirates universe on home soil

In cinemas today, Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is the fifth film in the hugely successful series, and the first to be filmed here in Australia. Joining the cast – alongside fellow Australians like Geoffrey Rush – was rising star Brenton Thwaites, who plays Will Turner’s son Henry in the film. Will Turner, of course, is played by Orlando Bloom in the series.

Our very own Chris Singh recently caught up with the actor, well known in Australia as part of the cast of the TV series SLiDE and Home and Away, to talk about joining the cast, working with Johnny Depp, and getting to film on home soil in Australia with no less than two directors! Watch both parts of the interview here:

Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is in cinemas now through Walt Disney Pictures Australia.
