Tom Lenk may have been best known for starring in Buffy The Vampire Slayer as well as performing on Broadway and being a singer and playwright. But more recently Lenk has taken Instagram by storm with his Lenk Lewk For Less where he posts pictures parodying celebrity fashion looks and replicating them using basic household items. Surprisingly the fashion and celebrity sphere has embraced his work, with Lenk receiving compliments from luminaries like Kylie Minogue and Nicole Kidman saying they enjoyed his take on their looks.
Recently visiting Australia for Oz Comic Con Melbourne 2017, we sat down for a chat with Lenk about his deep dive into the fashion realm as well as his documentary/biography/concert film Nerdgasm where he filmed his adventures leading up to and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. And also teaming up with his former Buffy The Vampire Slayer co-star Alyson Hannigan who was also on the Melbourne OzCC lineup.
