Interview: Zach McGowan on Russian accents in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D & playing a pirate on Black Sails

Zach McGowan is that ruggedly handsome character actor that has been popping up in a lot of shows recently. Some of which include The 100, Shameless, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Black Sails.
As well as starring in a number of television shows, McGowan has also lent his voice to a number of video games, including Resident Evil 6 and Iron Man. Yet beneath that gritty exterior we discover a hilarious, witty and clever actor that loves being on set and being a part of showbusiness.

Recently visiting Australia for Oz Comic Con Melbourne 2017 , his first official trip for a convention, we sat down for an amusing discussion about McGowan’s work on Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D and Black Sails in particular.
