Is Murder She Wrote star Angela Lansbury coming to Game of Thrones?

German news site Bild has reported that Angela Lansbury – the iconic star of Murder She Wrote – may be joining the cast of Game of Thrones for their second last season.

The star of the twelve-year long crime series is potentially joining the seventh season with a guest appearance, spanning two episodes. Lansbury will spend four days filming her scenes.

The news seems very tenuous at the moment so take it with a grain of salt but if it’s true, it will be an even bigger reason to tune into GoT’s final run.

Game of Thrones‘ seventh season is scheduled to debut in 2017.
