Jane Campion’s masterpiece ‘The Piano’ will be released on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital on the 10th December 2014 to celebrate its 21st anniversary.

The story revolves around Ada (Holly Hunter), a young mute woman who reluctantly arrives in 19th century New Zealand for an arranged marriage. Loneliness grips her, and she has only her daughter (Anna Paquin) and her grand piano for comfort. She is misunderstood by her husband (Sam Neil), and finds herself drawn to her neighbour (Harvey Keitel).

The Piano was universally recognised for the unforgettable performances and a rousing soundtrack by Michael Nyman (Ravenous, The End of the Affair).

Jane won the Palme d’Or at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival in 1993 for her work and was the first female director in history to do so. The film also won 3 Academy Awards® including Best Actress (Holly Hunter) and Best Supporting Actress (Anna Paquin).
