Time to get excited Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit fans – Legolas is coming. Yes, that’s right, it was confirmed today that Orlando Bloom, famed for his role in the franchise, will be coming to Sydney and Brisbane as part of the epic Oz Comic-Con lineup. Obviously a huge part of the first and current trilogies of Peter Jackson films, Bloom has also enjoyed much success in the epic Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and most recently, onstage in Romeo & Juliet. Bloom joins his co-stars in The Hobbit, Stephen Hunter (Bombur) and Dean O’Gorman (Fili) at both Oz Comic-Con events, which are sure to get only more hectic now the blonde elf prince is on his way.
The trio will be available for package photo opportunities, while Orlando will be taking part in his own photo stalls with fans! Best get your tickets fast, these aren’t likely to hang around long!
The Brisbane event will be held on the 6th and 7th of September, while the Sydney event will be held on the 13th and 14th of September. Tickets and more details can be found HERE.
