New details for Transformers: The Last Knight

The quinary to the Transformers series has finally got a title and some cast information, thanks to an ominous Instagram clip posted through the film’s social media channels.

While The Last Knight seems a little vague an uninspired as far as titles go, the franchise has never failed to produce blockbuster spectacle, even after losing film staple Shia Lebouf.

The announcement that Josh Duhamel will return to the series is the bigger news here, having played the role of Lieutenant Colonel Lennox in the first three films, only to go missing in the fourth installment, Duhamel will return alongside Mark Whalberg and Isabela Moner.

Michael Bay will again assume his position in the high chair and the crew will begin filming on June 6th in Detroit, before traversing the globe. Iron Man’s Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Black Hawk Down’s Ken Nolan will pen the next Autobot rendition.

The film is being planned for a release on June 23rd 2017.
