New Screenshots and Artwork suggest Dark Souls 3 will be more narrative focused

Dark Souls 3 is looking to be just as mysterious as its predecessors but a recently released set of 5 artworks and 8 screenshots paint a picture that might be a little more narrative focused.

Adding new details to what we can expect from the environment, the characters and the enemies these images show off the incredible jump in graphics quality from Dark Souls 2 and Bloodborne.

The most exciting detail we can pull from the screenshots is that the team might be taking queues from their last title Bloodborne, especially where monsters are concerned.

New boss named Iudex Gundyr (picture above) is showcased wielding a massive halberd, a combined spear and battle-axe, and is later shown with a terrifying dark mass exploding from its insides. Here’s Iudex before his morning coffee.
