Be afraid. the newest trailer for the upcoming Sony/Marvel Cinematic Universe film Venom has graced our screens, and boy does it pack a horrific, symbiotic punch.
Starring the wildly talented Tom Hardy (Mad Max: Fury Road) as investigative journalist Eddie Brock, Venom sees the infamous villain return to the big screen on his own terms, as the star of the show.
The trailer presents an origin story of sorts, as Eddie discovers his powers, along with an entity that may be his salvation; or his demise. Wild visuals, engaging action and a terrifying introduction to the newest incarnation of the titular Venom, is sure to leave a mark, as fans eagerly await the film’s official release later this year. Directed by Ruben Fleischer and co-starring Michelle Williams (Dawson’s Creek), Riz Ahmed (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Scott Haze (Child of God) and Reid Scott (Veep), Venom is set to release in theatres, 4th October 2018.
