Based on Ethan Pettus’ cult-favorite novel, Primitive War is a 1968-set action film that follows an elite recon unit, Vulture Squad, who are sent deep into the Vietnamese jungle to locate a missing Green Beret platoon—only to discover a far more lethal threat: dinosaurs.
Written and directed by Luke Sparke, and including an all-star cast of Jeremy Piven, Tricia Helfer, Ryan Kwanten, Nick Wechsler, Lincoln Lewis, Jeremy Lindsay Taylor and Jake Ryan, high-octane action, survival terror and war drama blend for an Australian thrill ride that’s sure to further Australia’s hold on the horror genre.
Primitive War is set for a worldwide release across 2025.
