Riverdale‘s KJ Apa and Magic Mike‘s Joe Manganiello added to Melbourne Oz Comic Con

Sneaking in just under the wire before the schedule gets locked in Oz Comic Con has announced two final guests for their Melbourne event happening 9th and 10th of June.
Star of Riverdale KJ Apa and Magic Mike and True Blood alum Joe Manganiello will headline the pop culture convention and be set to get fans hearts racing.

CW’s hit series (that streams on Netflix locally in Australia) is based on the characters of the Archie comics, with Apa playing the titular role of Archie Andrews. The show has taken the characters and brought a much darker and edgier feel by injecting its own mysteries that has Archie and his fellow high school friends juggling both the dramas of high school and shady goings on in the town.

And you may not know it but absolute unit and stunning human specimen Joe Manganiello is not just a movie star but a D&D acficionado and a bit of a nerd. You may have seen him recently attempting to take down some giant monsters in Rampage or making a sneaky end credit appearance in Justice League teasing Deathstroke/Slade Wilson.

The Melbourne lineup will also feature Lauren German and Lesley Ann Brandt both from Lucifer, David Ramsey (Arrow), Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2, Hunt For The Wildepeople), Keiynan Lonsdale (The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow), Jes Macallan (Legends Of Tomorrow), Clare Kramer (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), Katherine McNamara (Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments), Christopher Larkin (The 100) and a whole heap more guests from film, television, comics, and authors.

Oz Comic Con Melbourne will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th of June.
