Studio Ghibli’s Only Yesterday comes to a cinema near you

The Studio Ghibli classic Only Yesterday is returning to Australian cinemas this may in time for its 25th Anniversary.

Directed by Isao Takahata (Graves of the Fireflies, Pom Poko), Only Yesterday tells the story of a 27 year old Taeko who lives in Tokyo, but after a trip to visit her family in the countryside begins to rekindle memories of her past.

The whimsical and beautifully animated film will be remastered in high-definition with a new English dub featuring Daisy Ridley (Star Wars: Episode VII)  and Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire).
