Supanova 2016 adds animation legends and TV stars to Brisbane and Adelaide

Australia’s biggest comic-con style event, Supanova is heading to Brisbane and Adelaide in November and once again it’s bringing a wide array of talent from your favourite TV shows and movies.

Supanova’s latest guest announcement includes the lead actor from the upcoming series American GodsRicky Whittle plays Shadow Moon in the television adaption, based on the novel by Neil Gaiman.

Michelle Gomez from Dr. Who, who recently played the Doctor’s arch nemesis – Time Lord Missy will also make an appearance as will Ian Bohen from Teen Wolf.

Fans of animation are in for a treat too. Futurama stars John DiMaggio (who also voices Jake in Adventure Time) and voice acting icon Billy West will also be present.

The newly announced group join previously announced Supa-Stars Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Castle), Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars), Jason Mewes (Jay & Silent Bob), Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad), Claudia Wells (Back to the Future), Veronica Taylor (Pokémon), Steve Blum (Transformers), Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (Naruto), and authors Peter V. Brett (The Demon Cycle) and Alan Baxter (The Alex Caine Series).

Supanova is pop culture heaven. Celebrating the worlds of film and television, fantasy, comic books, anime, sci-fi, cartoons, books, gaming and collectables, it’s a weekend of pure joy. There’s ‘cosplay’, fan clubs, musical performances, creative master classes, celebrity Q&As, wrestling, tournaments and competitions, and an expo full of shopping possibilities meaning there’s something for everyone, for every fan to have a blast!

Supanova will be hitting Brisbane on November 11-13 and Adelaide on November 19-20.
