To celebrate the release of The Martian on DVD and Blu-ray next week, Twentieth Century Fox are assembling a replica of the HAB that Mark Watney (Matt Damon) uses to survive in Circular Quay and a real-life Mars One Astronaut Candidate will be spending five days inside it.

Like Watney, Mars One Astronaut Candidate Josh Richards will spend his time in the HAB solving various challenges. However, Richard’s week of trials will also be able to be watched, both by spectators at the HAB site and online.
Sydneysiders who stop by on Tuesday will be offered the chance to explore Mars in virtual reality.
Wednesday will see audiences select and submit a playlist of music for Richards to listen to and Thursday brings with it a public screening of the film and a live Twitter chat with the Mars One candidate.
You can find out more information on the website.
The Martian releases on DVD and Blu-ray on the 10th.
