Sydney’s Central Park announces a “Silent Disco” inspired Film Festival

From becoming part of Vivid Sydney’s program for the first time this year, to embracing the aMBUSH Gallery, Sydney centre Central Park has been impressively adding its mark to the artistic scene in Sydney since it opened in 2013. And their latest initiative will only add to their repetoire. The centre have announced that later this month they will be launching their first ever “Silent Film Festival”, inspired by the popular “Silent Disco” events.

Rather than present silent films themselves, the centre will be presenting eight blockbuster films, which can be heard only by wireless headsets, which promise to block out any LOUD NOISES!.

The series will launch on Thursday, 22 October and run through the weekend – with two screenings a night over four nights. Tickets are $10, which will give you entry to the movie, the headsets to use during the screening and a $10 voucher to spend on dinner in the centre (you can see what they offer HERE)! Bargain!
