Streaming service Amazon Prime Video have just shown off the first footage from the anticipated third season of their critically acclaimed series The Man in the High Castle.
Based on author Phillip K. Dick’s award-winning alternate history novel, The Man in the High Castle paints a daunting picture, placing the axis powers in a state of supreme control having won World War 2. Within a ‘Germanised’ America, those who seek to oppose the higher powers must band together and take on the Nazi regime one step at a time.
The newest trailer sees the stakes raised to an all time high, with the German government setting out to find and destroy important pieces of Americans history each citizen holds with high regard as a small reminder of how the world used to be. All the while, the resistance is growing and spreading a new message to the public, as the quest to discover the true nature and identity of The Man in the High Castle. And all of this set to artist Lxandra’s cover of the hit U2 sing ‘Pride (In the Name of Love)’.

The series stars Alexa Davalos (Mob City), Luke Kleintank (Pretty Little Liars), DJ Qualls (Z Nation), Joel De La Fuente (Hemlock Grove), Brennan Brown (Focus), Bella Heathcote (The Neon Demon) Chelah Horsdal (You Me Her), Jason O’Mara (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Revenge) and Rufus Sewell (Victoria).
The series was also developed by Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files), with Ridley Scott (The Martian), David W. Zucker (The Good Wife), Richard Heus (Ugly Betty), Isa Dick Hackett (Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams), and Daniel Percival (Banished) serving as executive producers. However, Eric Overmyer (Treme, Bosch, The Affair) will serve as show runner and executive producer for the third season.
Season 3 of The Man in the High Castle is set to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on 5th October 2018.
