Telltale Games has announced that they are releasing the season premiere episode of the popular Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Games Series for free. The episodic point-and-click adventure has eight episodes in total, at a price of $9.35 AUS per episode on Xbox One and $7.99 on iOS, which means that the newest discount will make a substantial difference to the weight of gamers pockets.
The Order of the Stone will be available for free on Xbox One and Xbox 360, Windows 10, as well as compatible iOS and Android devices. The discount will also be applied to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in North America, with the updated price expected to be available in Europe territories ‘very soon’.
In addition, the prices for the Season Pass, Adventure Pass, Season Pass Deluxe and The Complete Adventure have been discounted accordingly.
TellTale Games have also created a special pricing option for the retail disc. The new Minecraft: Story Mode – The Complete Adventure retail disc will include all eight episodes in the season, from the original season pass, and adventure pass add-on series, in one place for the first time.
The disc will be available at a price of US$29.99 which converts to an estimated price of AUS $39.31.
You can grab a copy for Playstation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 at North American retailers starting from October 25th; and Europe retailers starting October 28th. The disc will be released on PC in the near future, with the date still to be announced.
