The acclaimed Worlds Apart to hold its Australian premiere at Greek Film Festival

The Australian premiere of Worlds Apart, starring Academy Award winner J.K Simmons, will premiere at the Delphi Bank 23rd Greek Film Festival in Sydney later this year.

Written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Papakaliatis, Worlds Apart follows three separate love stories between a Greek and a foreigner who fall in love during the European crisis, with each story representing a different generation. J.K Simmons describes the film as “the flavour of being a Greek film, but also has a very international quality.”

The film is currently the highest grossing Greek film since 2009, and will be opening the festival on Tuesday 11th October.

The Greek Film Festival will run from Wednesday 12th October – Sunday 23th October at Palace Cinemas Norton Street, Leichhardt.
