The first teaser for Disney’s anticipated adaptation of The BFG is released

Novels by Road Dahl are apart of most children’s upbringing and one of the absolute classics is The BFG, which has now been transformed into an epic Disney film directed by none other than Steven Spielberg. Fun fact: it’s the first time the famed Director has helmed a Disney project – though he’s been a Producer on others in the past.

The first teaser trailer has just been released for the anticipated production and it is reminiscent of a Harry Potter film in terms of its darkness and suspense. Opening with the grandiose Big Ben, you are transported to the streets of London where a Big Friendly Giant lurks. The CGI looks incredible and will be well worth the watch in 3D or Real D 3D.

Disney’s The BFG comes to theatres July 1, 2016.
