The teaser for for the fifth Pirates of the Carribbean film has been released and it looks like Jack Sparrow has got himself in a spot of trouble.
The short teaser for Dead Men Tell No Tales sees Captain Salaza (Javier Bardem) and his crew wreaking havoc on a ship before telling a young captor (Lewis McGowan) to send a message to Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp).
It’s all rather malevolent stuff, assisted by Barden’s truly evil portrayal (bringing back from memories of Skyfall), his crews disfigured look and the potentially high stakes plot; that maybe this is one fight that Jack can’t win.
In addition to the superb casting, Orlando Bloom will be returning as William Turner Jr. after being absent from the fourth film. He’ll be joined by the incomparable Geoffrey Rush, back as Hector Barbossa.
Dead Men Tell No Tales was shot exclusively in Australia, making it the “largest production to ever shoot in the country”.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is scheduled for release in Australia on May 26, 2017.
