The Force Awakens‘ Adam Driver joins Terry Gilliam’s Quixote project.

Terry Gilliam’s long-troubled project, The Man Who Killed Quixote, will finally begin production later this year starring Star Wars’ Adam Driver alongside Monty Python’s Michael Palin.

Palin is currently set to take up the role of Quixote, assuming the bad-luck that forced John Hurt, Jean Rochefort and others off the project doesn’t strike again.

An loose adaptation of Miguel de Cervante’s book of the same name, film involves a film-student-turned-publicist Toby (Driver), who goes in search of a village where he filmed a short adaptation of Don Quixote many years previously.

Gilliam intends to start filming this September.
