The master of the mockumentary, Christopher Guest, reunites his usual suspects for Netflix’s Mascots

Christopher Guest, famed director of Best in Show and writer of This is Spinal Tap has helmed a new film, exclusively for Netflix, and he’s brought his friends along.

The new mockumentary, simply titled Mascots, provides a hilarious insight into the world of competitive mascots, has a slew of previous cast members from Guest’s films including Parker Posey, Jennifer Coolidge, Ed Begley Jr., Harry Shearer, Jane Lynch, Fred Willard, Bob Balaban, Don Lake, Michael Hitchcock and John Michael Higgins.

With the notable exceptions of Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy (who are at work on their series Schitt’s Creek) Mascots is a who’s who of Christopher Guest alumni.
