Prepare yourself for one of the most magical nights you’ll have this year – The Projects Short Film Festival is once again hitting the Inner West of Sydney. The one-night festival will kick off on Tuesday 24th February at 7.30pm The Vic on the Park, Marrickville.
The Projects Short Film Festival aims to create a supportive and exciting arena for filmmakers without prejudice. Hosted by The Projects Enmore, the Festival was founded as a way to meet the demand for more platforms to exhibit Australian short films, and to showcase more and more of our emerging talent. 2014, the first year of the festival was a hit, selling out to a hugely enthusiastic audience.
The finalists will have their entries screened under the stars to a panel of professionals from all facets of the film industry. Including Caera Bradshow (Roadshow Entertainment, writer/director Shahn Devendran), last year’s winner of the festival, Anita Lee, and Christiaan Van Vuuren (Bondi Hipsters, Fully Sick Rapper, ABC’s Soul Mates).
The festival is widely supported by the local film industry and boasts many donated prizes for the winners. Prizes are designed to give the filmmakers what they need to continue making films.
