The Bellas battle it out with the Underwoods in this week’s DVD releases. Here are our three picks of DVDs and Blu-Rays you can pick up in Australian stores this week:
PITCH PERFECT 2
Becca (Anna Kendrick) and the Barden Bellas are back for an international aca-battle in Pitch Perfect 2. Whilst the sequel to the 2012 hit generated mixed reviews, Pitch Perfect 2 is still worth a watch if you enjoyed the first fare into aca-rap battles and Fat Amy’s (Rebel Wilson) horizontal running.
HOUSE OF CARDS SEASON 3
The Underwoods are back and Frank has worked his way up the political ladder, now ruling as President of the United States. The relationship between Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire (Robin Wright) is the best part of this new season, with the cracks in their solid relationship finally beginning to show. House of Cards still remains one of the best shows on the box, and Spacey and Wright’s perfomances are the glue that hold it all together.
SUITS SEASON 4
The fourth season of this highly popular legal series is now released on DVD. Starring Gabriel Macht and Patrick J Adams,Suits follows Mike Ross, a college dropout who works for top lawyer Harvey Specter, even though he never attended law school. This popular US series has enjoyed a cult following here, is currently airing a fifth season in the US, and is already slated to return for a sixth series.
