Monday
Bones, Ch. 7, 8:30pm AEST
Don’t miss the 200th episode of Bones, a Hitchcock inspired tale that borrows all the elements from classic Hollywood thrillers. Proving that Bones and Booth would be together in any era, the episode tells the story of a jewel thief with a heart of gold (David Boreanaz) and a detective with a point to prove (Emily Deschanel) that unite for a common goal. Sparks fly as usual and the whole cast gets in on the fun.
Tuesday
The Girl Who Played With Fire, SBS 2, 9:30pm AEST
Tune into the sequel of the Swedish thriller The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. It features the original cast, including the extraordinarily talented Noomi Rapace as Lisbeth Salander and Michael Nyqvist as Mikael Blomkvist. This time Salander has been accused of murder while Blomkvist must try and clear her name.
American History X, Go!, 9:30pm AEST
The critically acclaimed American History X explores neo-Nazism with Edward Norton delivering a standout and complex performance. Not for the fainthearted, but a powerful film worth viewing.
Wednesday
Going the Distance, Ch. 9, 10:00pm AEST
This is a sweet and amusing romantic comedy about the ups and downs of long-distance relationships. Featuring the former real-life couple Drew Barrymore and Justin Long at its heart, there is a sparkling, realistic chemistry that keeps the film fun, fresh and relatable.
Adam Hills: The Last Leg, ABC, 9:33pm AEST
Australian comedian Adam Hills has quickly made a name for himself in the UK with his biting and irreverent humour taking apart current events. Joined by regulars Josh Widdicombe, Alex Brooker and guest Dara O’Briain, if you haven’t watched The Last Leg yet, tune in this week.
