Monday

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, ABC 2, 7:40 pm AEST

Chris Pratt is a guest on this episode, so it’s going to be a fantastic and funny show. Pratt and Fallon play a hilarious game of ‘Word Sneak’, and later Fallon is joined by the elegant and witty Rosamund Pike, promoting her new film Gone Girl.

Stevie, ABC 2, 11:12 pm AEST

This award-winning 2002 documentary follows the life of Stevie Fielding, a troubled young boy that filmmaker Steve James had been an ‘Advocate Big Brother’ to. It documents James’ re-entry into Stevie’s life and the self-destruction that led to him committing a serious crime.

Tuesday

Dancing With The Stars, Ch. 7, 7:30 pm AEST

The new season of Dancing With The Stars begins, hosted by Daniel McPherson and Edwina Bartholomew and featuring singer Ricki-Lee Coulter, swimmer Eamon Sullivan and Home and Away actress Lynne McGranger, among others as contestants. Todd McKenney, with his trademark brand of humour, will again take a seat on the judging panel guaranteeing laughs and a brutally honest commentary on the stars’ efforts.

Sucker Punch, GO! 9:30 pm AEST

Zack Snyder’s unique film stars Emily Browning as a young girl locked away in a mental asylum, who retreats into her own imaginary world, along with four of the other asylum inmates. The cast also includes Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Vanessa Hudgens and Jamie Chung.

Nurse Jackie, Eleven, 10:50 pm AEST

Tune into the award-winning comedy-drama starring  in its penultimate season with this week’s episode ‘Love Jungle.’

Wednesday

Catch Me If You Can, One, 9:30 pm AEST

Steven Spielberg’s fast-paced film about famous con-man Frank Abagnale Jr. stars a young Leonardo DiCaprio as well as Tom Hanks and Christopher Walken. DiCaprio is fantastic as the confident and charming Abagnale, while Hanks is predictably brilliant as the FBI agent chasing him down.

There’s Something About Mary, Ch. 10, 9:40 pm AEST

Cameron Diaz is at her loveable best in There’s Something About Mary. The film follows the adventures of a former high-school geek (Ben Stiller) trying to chase down the girl of his dreams (Diaz). A fun ride from start to finish, this Farrelly brothers’ comedy also stars Matt Dillon.
