Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, co stars of Step Brothers and Taladega Nights are set to reunite to play Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick John Watson, respectively.
Etan Cohen, who wrote the screenplays for Tropic Thunder and Men in Black 3 will write and direct Holmes and Watson. Cohen also directed Ferrell in Get Hard.
That’s all there is to go on at the moment but one can assume, looking at the players involved, we’re going to get a comedic take on one of the worlds greatest detectives. Though there have been plenty of takes on the classic characters in recent years, we have a feeling this is going to be something completely different.
