Eagle Entertainment is pleased to announce the release of the cop thriller McCanick. David Morse is the titular character, a rough-hewn Philadelphia detective; and Cory Monteith, in his final role, portrays a recently released prisoner that McCanick soon has in the crosshairs. McCanick has been released on DVD and Blu-ray this month.
Parallel plot lines shift between the past and current events in which the renegade cop turns upside down drug dens, crumbling tenements and the city’s undesirables should they get in his way. Shot with heightened immediacy on real urban locales in Philadelphia, McCanick announces the arrival of director Josh C. Waller, who imbues the spiralling action with high octane energy and authentic atmosphere, pulling no punches into the bargain. Marking the final film of Cory Monteith before his passing in July, 2013, McCanick has just screened at the prestigious Toronto International Film, where it had it’s world premier.
To celebrate its recent released we’ve got FIVE DVD copies of McCanick to giveaway!
